Dear Valued Clients,
Allow me to introduce myself, I am Shawn Hannan, and I am going to be your new Account Manager with The Douglas Stewart Company as of May 2023. It is an honor to collaborate with you and help fulfill your needs.
Over the last 10 years, I have had experience teaching Public Speaking courses at Northern Illinois University, the University of Illinois-Urbana/Champaign, and at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. During this time, I have taught both virtually and in-person helping students learn the materials. I have had the pleasure of evaluating textbooks and developing curriculum for the programs. My focus was to get the students comfortable with the materials and each other to ensure a collaborative learning environment.
While I was teaching, I was always looking for innovative technology that would help the students learn and become comfortable with the lessons. I believe when students are curious their learning is growing exponentially. I am also furthering my education on how VR and AR can be effective teaching tools as the technology is becoming more accessible. On a more personal note, I have an interest in Esports and enjoy the growth we are seeing. I enjoy seeing the gaming rigs and the additional resources that can make the experience stronger for the players.
