Students can grasp the fundamentals of robotics, computer science, and engineering by programming the Create 3 Robot to perform simple behaviors, sounds, and movements using Python and the industry-standard Robot Operating System 2 (ROS 2).

  • Communicate – operational out of the box, communicate with the Create® 3 using Wi-Fi, Ethernet over USB, and Bluetooth® Low Energy technology. The Create® 3 supports learning with ROS 2, iRobot Education's Python Web Playground, or the iRobot® Coding App.

  • Connect & Store – attach and run third-party hardware using the robot’s built-in USB-C™ port—and use the cargo bay for storage.

  • Build & Expand – Design custom robots with a buildable faceplate that can be used to mount LiDAR scanners, camera modules, and other sensors.

*The Create 3 does not include cleaning hardware.
